As editor of the peer reviewed journal, Global Change, Peace and Security, I am writing to inform you of an initiative that I am sure will be of interest to you, your colleagues, and students.

We are now accepting entries for the 2008 Routledge-GCP&S Essay competition (see the attachment for more detail). Entries are invited from students and eligible early career academics that explore aspects

of political, economic, and cultural life as these impact on relations across national borders.

The winner will be awarded $US500, a certificate from Routledge, and their entry will be considered for publication in our journal.

We would be very grateful if you could bring the competition to the attention of eligible students and young scholars, and if you could distribute the attached leaflet throughout your networks.

We believe that this competition will in time gain international recognition, and your assistance will help us realize this aim.
